28 May Management of field trials at the Chaban-Delmas site (S2)

Long-term field trials are implemented at the Chaban-Delmas site (S2), a part of the urban Parc aux Angéliques, to assess the phytomanagement of contaminated soils with grassland and several amendments.
In March and April 2021, the INRAE researchers went to this site to manage the field plots. Purposes were to measure the leaf area index of the vegetation for all plots, to control plant growth, and to realize the foliar fertilization for some plots.
Data are used to determine the influence of compost, biochar, and foliar fertilization on the biomass production.
