Interventions will take place in a network of 11 contaminated and/or degraded sites in Spain, Portugal and France. Most of them correspond to homogeneous contamination of some specific element (metals, etc.) while in other cases they are degraded soils with heterogeneous contamination. Eleven experimental sites (4 in Portugal, 3 in France, 2 en Galicia and 2 in the Basque Country) have been chosen in order to evaluate phytomanagement options, the improvement of ecological functions associated to soil services, the alleviation of pollutant associated risks and the production of useable biomass for the bioeconomy.
